Welcoming Two Promotions Within Our Senior Leadership Team
We are pleased to announce significant promotions within our senior leadership team, marking an important step in our long‑term growth strategy.
Jordan Robinson Appointed Joint Managing Director
Jordan joined the business in 2017 as a Senior Electrical Estimating Engineer before progressing to Pre‑Construction Director. His new role will see him work closely alongside Joint Managing Director Nick Morecroft to lead the business into its next phase of development.
With more than 21 years’ experience in the electrical industry, taking on roles as a Project Electrical Engineer, Electrical Design Engineer, Technical Engineer, Design Manager and Estimator, Jordan brings broad technical expertise and a strong commercial understanding of the sector. He will work closely with Nick Morecroft (Joint MD) and continue to oversee work winning, estimating and business development while also working with Nick to support the design department and helping drive the company’s medium‑ and long‑term vision.

Tom Swindell Appointed Contracts Director
Another fantastic piece of news is that we have appointed Tom Swindell as a Contracts Director. Tom joined us from school in 2005 as an apprentice electrician and has worked his way up to his current role of Associate Director (Contracts).
Entering his 21st year with the business it really is amazing to be able to appoint Tom having spent his whole career with us.
Following the completion of his apprenticeship Tom went off to become an Approved Electrician and then Site Manager with us, managing large electrical installation projects in the residential, student accommodation, commercial, industrial and food sectors building up a wealth of experience on all types of projects standing him in good stead to play his part in overseeing all site installations alongside Nick Morecroft.
Nick commented that:
“I am incredibly proud to see Tom appointed to the board having taken him on as a 16 year old apprentice 21 years ago and having seen him progress through each level of site and project management over the last 21 years with such success. It shows what can be achieved when hard work, determination and ability are there in abundance”

Strengthening the Leadership Team for the Future
These appointments, together with further director roles added 18 months ago, solidify a strong and experienced senior management team at Morecrofts. The leadership group is made up of individuals who bring long‑standing industry expertise, deep knowledge of the business and a shared commitment to the company’s values and culture.
